The Year Ahead

biddenden grapesWe have an exciting year ahead here at Dandelion Time with events being held by us, or by our supporters.  A full list of events are available on Facebook and we will update the website with details of events as they get nearer.  We also update our supporters by email with a quarterly newsletter, so please do sign up if you would like to receive this.

We are pleased to be supported this year by some great clubs and local businesses:

Biddenden Vineyards has chosen Dandelion Time as their Charity of the Year, and is running weekly tours. The vineyard is a family run business with over 23 acres of sunny south facing vines.  They grow 11 types of grapes to produce their range of award winning wines.  The Tours and wine tasting run every  Saturday at 10am, for £1.  Dogs are welcome on the Tour.

Sally Barnes, Director, said: “Our charity tours cost £1 per person, with all funds raised to be donated to our chosen charity. For 2017 we will be supporting Dandelion Time a local charity, based in West Farleigh near Maidstone, helping children and their families that are the victims of trauma, abuse and neglect.”

Sally continues: “What you can see at the vineyard changes seasonally so if you have visited before in summer, a winter tour will give you an opportunity to see the vineyard in a completely different light.”

Another great event, and a first for Dandelion Time, is the Vicar’s Picnic.  This fabulous music event is in Yalding, so right on our doorstep.   This event is run entirely by volunteers, showing casing great music and raising money for local causes.  We are very proud to be involved and will have our stand on 14 and 15 July at the Festival.

Book tickets direct at their website: day tickets or weekend camping tickets available.  Tickets also available locally from The Chequers Inn, the Post Office and Village Tea Rooms.
