Hair-raising Antics

Yvonne Rainbow HairRainbow Hair and ShirtYvonne Mercer had a very troubled childhood and wanted to do something to support children in a similar situation.

She decided to dye her hair all the colours of the rainbow, as a celebration of life and happiness … raising over £2,500.

Mighty Josh French and brother used all their pulling power to pull an 18 tonne truck. “You do amazing work and it was a real pleasure to achieve something in the name of your charity”. They raised over £400 for our charity, every penny goes to helping the children and their families we support here at Dandelion Time

Head Shave BrothersChristine Colyer and husband Brian both received cancer diagnoses within months of one another and the family, in this challenging situation were referred to Dandelion Time.  Christine said:

“I cannot thank Dandelion Time enough for their kindness andcompassion.  I just cannot put it into words … they helped my son Daniel, 12, but deep down they they helped me too.”

Oldest son, John Harris wanted to support Dandelion Time as they had given so much support to his family.  John and his friend George held a sponsored Head Shave at the Five Bells in Halling, raising over £4,000.

Matthew Bowling Mount VentouxMatthew Bowling has done what only 27 other Brits have done before … in September he cycled up Mount Ventoux, 4 times – the final ascent was off-road … an amazing achievement and a great fundraiser for Dandelion Time.

Thank you all for your great #doit4dandelion challenges.

We look forward to all the adventures our supporters will have in 2018.
