An amazing team of runners took part in the London Royal Park’s Marathon this month. Wearing the Dandelion Time green, our Park Life Heroes took the route past some of the capital’s famous landmarks. On closed roads and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens – the 8 strong team ran over 13 miles.
It was an overcast day, but still beautiful colours to be seen as they ran through the leafy autumnal spaces. Joining 128,000 runners who have crossed the finishing line since this Half Marathon started up in 2008.
Not only running, they took on the challenge of fundraising for our vital work here in Kent. They have raised an amazing £9,100 to date. You can show your support for them too, or get in touch with our team if you would like to take on a challenge in 2019.
