The Wealden Literary Festival is a celebration of the outdoors, the natural world and the earth beneath our feet. A rootling of roots and a stomp across the landscapes we are part of.
Over the course of the weekend 18 and 19 June, some of the best loved place, nature and travel writers – each drawing inspiration from a kaleidoscope of landscapes and wildlife – will be talking about their books and their passion for the natural world in the enchanting surroundings of Boldshaves Gardens.
Visitors will also be treated to site-specific art installations inspired by a sense of place, running in tandem with a host of outdoor activities and events for children and adults as diverse as wildlife safaris, nature trails, street food stalls (Kent-style), craft stalls, workshops and much else besides.
Guests will be able to explore over 100 acres of surrounding woodland and farmland. Crammed full of nightingales, badgers, bluebells and even the occasional wild boar and criss-crossed by a network of footpaths and green lanes stretching into the distant Weald, the location of the festival is a story of adventure and natural history in itself.
Dandelion Time is proud to be taking part and we will have a stand at the festival, all weekend.
