Making a Will
There are many ways to leave a gift in your Will and we recommend you start off the process by meeting with a solicitor who will be able to give you advice about which way of giving best suits your needs. These are the most common ways to leave a legacy gift:
Residual Legacy This is the remainder of your estate after all your gifts to loved ones and payments have been made. | Pecuniary Legacy Is a fixed sum of money. It is worth asking your solicitors to index-link your donation to ensure the amount you leave keeps its value relative to inflation. | Specific Legacy Is a particular named item, such as shares, jewellery or property. |

Already made a Will?
If you have already made a Will and are happy with the main provisions but wish to make additional gifts you could do so by codicil, a simple way to make specific changes or additions without affecting the earlier provisions.
