Volunteers Bring Christmas Cheer

spadesAutumn and winter are very busy periods in our calendar here at Dandelion Time.  The therapeutic team are busy with the children and families, but behind the scenes our support staff are organising various events and fundraising ideas.

We are always pleased to hear from volunteer groups who want to come help us with our workload.  We have been very grateful to host corporate volunteer days recently for two great companies.

We find that volunteers are always full of enthusiasm and energy for their day in West Farleigh, and we always enjoy sitting down to a delicious Dandelion Time lunch with them and making new friends.

Aspect8 joined us on a beautiful late autumnal day from their office in Maidstone.  The sunshine was with us, and it was perfect for being in the garden.  They worked very hard in the gardens prepping the vegetable plot ready for our next round of planting with the children and families who attend Dandelion Time.

They even had time to attack the huge list of fundraising tasks – one of which was the packing of our exclusively designed homewares, ready for the launch via our online shop.

Fidelity International

FidelityA team of volunteers from the Hildenborough Office, joined us for the day here at Elmscroft.  They spend a long day with us preparing our Christmas Newsletter mailing and we needed more homewares and cards packing.

We are so grateful to them all for their invaluable support.
