Strategic Aims

Since 2003 Dandelion Time has transformed the lives of over a thousand children and families with complex emotional difficulties. The charity has grown steadily over this period to meet increased need. In 2019 we opened our second centre in Ashford and it is the Board of Trustee’s aim to further expand our geographical reach so we can can help more children and ensure that Dandelion Time becomes a sustainable resource for communities in the future.

We intend to significantly increase the number of children and families we support through opening additional centres for children in areas of need in Kent and the South East. We also plan to develop our training programme to disseminate the Dandelion Time approach to support our expansion and to enhance the skills of professionals working in similar settings.

Our 2020-2025 Strategic Plan is below. Strategy for Board-2020-2025 PostBoard131120docx

To support this expansion we are investing in the development of our new site in West Farleigh. This new site, with a 30 year lease, provides us with…

  • A HQ from which we can run our other Dandelion Time centres,
  • A secure and peaceful sanctuary for our therapeutic programme
  • Bring long term cost saving to Dandelion Time.
