Dandelion Time Candlelit Carols

 Monday 18th December, from 6pm

Chapel of St Augustine, Tonbridge School

followed by mulled wine and mince pies

Join us for a magical evening with our patron Sir Michael Morpurgo. The acclaimed author is travelling to Kent to star in Dandelion Time’s Candlelit Carols service with a reading of his modern children’s classic, Grandpa Christmas, a beautiful, vital story about a grandpa’s wish for his granddaughter to live in a better world.

We hope you can join us for this special event that marks 20 years of Dandelion Time helping local families. Also performing will be the Kent Police Band, West Kent Youth Voices, Hildenborough CE Primary School Choir and acapella group Semi-Toned, winners of BBC2’s The Choir: Gareth’s Best in Britain.

The concert will be performed by candlelight at Tonbridge School’s magnificent St Augustine’s Chapel, beginning at 6:30pm and concluding at 7:45pm approximately, followed by a mulled wine and mince pie reception. Please note doors will open at 6pm.

Tickets are now sold out; many thanks for your interest and support.

I’m so happy to be Patron of Dandelion Time, a charity after my own heart, which enables so many children to experience the healing power of nature.
Clare, my wife, also loves what they do. So we are looking forward greatly to the Dandelion Time Candlelit Carol, this December when I will be reading my story ‘Grandpa Christmas’, in celebration of nature, of children, and of Grandpas! And of Christmas of course!

See you all there, in good heart and voice.

Michael Morpurgo
