New Dandelion Time Branch Opens!

17 years since we first opened our doors and hundreds of children and families helped later, we are proud to announce that our new Ashford branch welcomed its first group of families today!

Opening a new branch in Ashford provides us with an opportunity to extend our reach to East Kent and help more children and families within the county. Our Ashford branch will be based in Bethersden’s Scout Hut and we will be running our nature-based activities in the field opposite. This beautiful space will offer families tranquillity and time to heal.

The site was completely transformed in September this year when a hundred volunteers from Kimberly Clark gave their time to build everything from pizza ovens to a pergola!

This nurturing outdoor environment will allow children to build self-belief, strengthen relationships and develop the skills and aspirations for a brighter future.

We have a very exciting year ahead, continuing to develop Dandelion Time and welcoming more children and families. To celebrate we are planning something very special next year so keep your eyes peeled for more details!
