Ultra Challenge Events 2026

We have partnered with Ultra Challenge, the UK’s No 1 Series of treks & trail runs! Take on a challenge at your pace and fundraise for Dandelion Time!
Whether along a stunning coastline or on trails through magnificent countryside, you’ll get full support all the way–including plenty of food & drink, medics & massage, camaraderie, a medal & T shirt -and an amazing sense of achievement.
With 20 events to choose from, and distance options ranging from 10km up to the full100km–there’s an Ultra Challenge waiting for you in 2026.
You’ll be able to choose Dandelion Time when you sign up and you’ll find us under the “Listed Charity” category.

Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge – 10th October 2026


An end of season Ultra Challenge in the ‘Garden of England’. A basecamp near Maidstone, join up to 2,000 adventurers and you can take it on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Dandelion Time!
The 50km looped route heads anticlockwise on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, following the River Medway to Mote Park at halfway for a picnic. Along the Len Valley Walk to the majestic Leeds Castle, and the North Downs Way back to the showground finish line. Sign up as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food & drink, optional camping & transfers, a special medal, T shirt and celebration finish. With 25km & 10km options also available – there’s a challenge for everyone!
The Great Southern Mud Run – 20th June 2026

We are partners in the Great Southern Mud Run, also known as the Dirty Rotten Scramble!
You’ll tackle various water obstacles along the way, such as wading through water & even a few swims too. Options for non-swimmers too! Choose between the 6K, 12K, 25K or 35K route to suit the level of challenge you want to take on. You can expect plenty of mud, water & hills! Plus a few other surprises out on course too!
