On Friday 24 September, Dandelion Time welcomed funders to celebrate the opening of their new Maidstone HQ!
The day was a glorious celebration of the last 18 months the team have spent completely renovating their 22-acre site and various derelict outbuildings to create a therapeutic sanctuary for vulnerable children for decades to come. Guests took part in an immersive tour of our new grounds & took part in a variety of nature-based crafts including woodwork and apple pressing.
The tour was followed by a presentation in by Chair and Founder, Dr Caroline Jessel and CEO Graham Carpenter. Guests included the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner and Kent Community Foundation.
Over 3000 hours were donated by local Volunteers including One Savings Bank, Fidelity and Thomson Snell and Passmore to help build and create the new site.
Thank you once again to everyone who has contributed to make this step-change possible. We hope you can all carry on this exciting journey with us!
Since 2003 Dandelion Time we have transformed the lives of over 1,000 vulnerable children and families. We are delighted to welcome guests to celebrate the opening of our new site which will help transform the lives of many families for generations to come”
