The Dandelion Time May Fayre is the pinnacle of our year. It’s more than just a celebration of summer’s arrival; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the unique and cherished place that is Dandelion Time.
We open our grounds for everyone to enjoy, offering the chance to meet our animals and explore our 22-acre site, complete with its enchanting woodlands, peaceful pond, and vibrant gardens. Visitors can also try out our engaging craft activities, all of which play a key part in the work we do to help children with emotional challenges. Every corner of our space is designed to nurture connections, build confidence and provide healing, reflecting the heart of our mission at Dandelion Time.
The day will have traditional games, refreshments, tombola, second hand book and toy stalls, plant stall, crafts, meet the animals, food from Charlie’s Angels Kitchens and entertainment from Old School Samba, Rock Choir and Stardust Puppets – plus much more!

Animal Encounters
As you stroll through the peaceful grounds of Dandelion Time, you’ll encounter our beloved animals. First, you’ll meet the curious donkeys, with their gentle nature, ready for a friendly hello. Continuing on, you’ll find the alpacas who are shyer but still fascinating, and nearby you can watch the sheep peacefully graze adding to the serene atmosphere.
Crafty Corner
In our Crafty Corner, based in the new Bradbury Roundhouse, visitors can explore a world of creativity and calm. Here, you can try your hand at activities like weaving and Viking knitting, using natural soft wool to craft something new. These hands-on, rhythmic activities engage the senses and provide a soothing experience, perfect for quieting a busy mind.

On our Village Green, there’ll be entertainment throughout the day with musical performances, story time and puppet shows – plus you’ll find classic fairground games, offering fun for all ages. At the Bramley Bazaar, browse a delightful selection of plants, books, toys, and handcrafted goods from a fantastic range of local artisans. Finish off your day with a delicious slice of cake and a refreshing cup of tea at our charming English Country Tea Shop.
