The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a unique, closed-road race through the heart of central London. It’s the only half marathon that takes runners through both the City of London and the City of Westminster. But this isn’t your typical half marathon. Along the route, runners will discover a mix of London’s rich history, iconic landmarks, and quirky hidden gems – offering a one-of-a-kind way to explore the capital.
The race starts on Pall Mall and finishes near Downing Street, with stunning views of some of London’s most famous sights, including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.

FAQ’s
When is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?
The London Landmarks Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 12th April. Runners will experience the grand, the hidden and the quirky as they make their way through the capital.
Is there a minimum I need to fundraise?
If you take one of our charity places, we ask that you raise a minimum of £500. If you have your own place and run for us, you can set your own target. We will be here to support you and provide lots of inspiration to help you hit your target.
Will Dandelion Time be at the London Landmarks Half Marathon?
Yes! You will find us along the route (exact place TBC) at our dedicated, themed cheer point. Ready to cheer you on!
When will I receive my running top?
Your running top will be sent out in the post prior to race day. Please note this will only be sent to charity runners who have raised £100 and are actively fundraising towards their target. All own place ballot runners will receive their top up to four months prior to race day
I’m worried about hitting my fundraising target. What can I do?
Our dedicated fundraising team are here to help and support you with your fundraising. We can offer advice, ideas and tips to maximise your fundraising target.
The deadline to hit your fundraising target is 8 weeks after the event date. We find that once a challenge is complete, you’re more likely to obtain sponsorship from friends and family who are inspired by your incredible accomplishment!
We ask that before signing up, fundraisers think about whether they can hit their target. If sponsorship targets aren’t reached, it can impact on Dandelion Time’s ability to continue our work. It can also leave us out of pocket as we pay to obtain spaces in this event.
If you are worried about your fundraising at any point, please do not hesitate to email fundraising@dandeliontime.org.uk and we’ll be happy to help.
