One donation, twice the impact
Double your donation this year during the Big Give Christmas Challenge. From 2–9 December, every pound you give will be matched and doubled. That means your generosity goes twice as far to support children and families that have experienced trauma.
This year, we’re aiming to raise £40,000 to extend our therapeutic services and deliver up to an additional 125 nature-based therapy sessions across our Kent sites. With 63%* of the children referred to us impacted by domestic abuse, and many thousands of children in Kent estimated to live in homes where violence and fear are part of daily life, your support is more vital than ever.
Early intervention is key. Without it, the trauma these children experience can have devastating effects on their mental, emotional, and physical health — lasting well into adulthood.
*referrals from Sept 2024 – Aug 2025
Lilah’s story

Imagine being a child whose pain feels invisible and whose emotions are constantly misunderstood. This was Lilah’s reality when her school referred her to Dandelion Time. Domestic abuse had been a constant presence in Lilah’s life and as a result, she was fearful, anxious, and unsure of how to express herself.
Dandelion Time has given her a second chance when no-one would
Lilah’s mum
Since leaving Dandelion Time, Lilah now attends school four days a week and has started to form bonds with her peers. Lilah’s life circumstances are similar to many children who attend Dandelion Time.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our Big Give Pledgers and Champions who will be so generously matching your donations.
