Bridgepoint volunteers arrived at Dandelion Time with the task of building us a Bird Hide! The volunteers arranged theirselves into two teams and constructed the bird hide from scratch.
Bridgepoint left their legacy at Dandelion Time, building a beautiful Bird Hide in our meadow to provide children and families a place to rest, breathe and watch the wildlife.Read all our Case Story Harry & The Bird Hide to learn about the therapeutic benefit of being bird watching and how this inspires a love of the environment and encourages empathy for living things big and small.
Our Corporate Volunteer Day at Dandelion Time was a productive and hugely rewarding experience for our team of 25 staff from our London Office. During the course of the day we managed to build a bird hide for the vulnerable children and families that come to Dandelion Time. It was a great opportunity for our staff to take on a physical challenge, enjoy the fresh Kent air and work with different team members. It has now gone down as one of our most memorable days working together as a team. We were able to fully fund the building and have left a permanent legacy and a safe space for children and families to reconnect with nature and with one another.
