Eagle Eye: Hide and Seek with a Nature Twist

Looking for a fun outdoor game that gets kids moving? Try Eagle Eye – a hide and seek game with a nature twist that’s perfect for the garden, park, or woods.

Here’s how to play:

🦅 How it works:

  1. Choose one child to be the spotter (the Eagle).
  2. Everyone else becomes a wild animal, finding a place to hide and using natural materials to camouflage themselves – just like animals do in the wild.
  3. The spotter stands still and tries to see the hidden ‘animals’ without moving from their spot.
  4. If the spotter can’t find everyone, they can take a few steps forward before looking again.
  5. The last child found becomes the next Eagle.

Tip: Talk about real animal camouflage before you play – like stick insects, moths, or owls – to add a learning moment to the game.

💚 We’d love to see your little eagles and animals in action!
